Vannai Vengadesa Varatharaja Perumal Temple

                                               This temple is known as “Thirupaththy in Illankai( Sri Lanka)” . It is a famous Visnu god’s temple and was constructed in 1665.The first grand festival was celebrated in 1878.The annual grand festival is celebrated for 10 days during the month of September.This temple has Rajakoopuram (front tower) and the Kumbhaaabisekam was held in 1978.Some other special festivals such as monthly Egathasi,Ramar Paddabhisekam in March,Krishna Jeyanthi in September,Thiruvonam in April are celebrated in this temple.
